I don't think its clever or funny to make fun of someone who has such difficulty in writing English!!! Even if they do think that Eloy are the best!

Hey, there's nothing wrong with Eloy. Or Novalis. Or Magma. A good
choice.
Like what you like!

I like Eloy, and they are way more progressive than some of the sh*t on here.

try 'floating', for example.

I really love Eloy... Bournemann's accented vocals, excellent guitar playing and the synths. By the way, Ocean 2 is much more better than I expected. Great stuff, highly recommended.

I really like Eloy, specially their albums "Ocean" and "Planets"... But i also think there are mcuh better german bands, on the krautrock scene (example: GROBSCHNITT!!)

I have just recently discovered Eloy and I think they are great - a relaxing listen after large doses of prog metal eg: Opeth, Symphony X ,DT etc

O.K. - I can't resist putting in my opinion of Eloy - one of the best bands for sure. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but what I don't understand is all the 'stick' Eloy cops - why ??? I am a big fan of all albums from S/T through to Performance, oh, and Ocean 2. Some of the stuff in between lacks magic but still enjoyable to hear. And let's not forget the wonderful Ego on the Rocks - Jurgen and Detlev - now we're talking business
Eloy is essential !!!!

Eloy are a great band with a dodgy singer.Instrumentally they kick serious amounts of butt.Between 1978 and 1983 there were no better prog bands around IMO.

here, here Richard...it has always surprised me why Eloy get such a serious amount of stick from certain quarters on this site...
those of you wanting to try some out, should possibly start with their cross over albums (to being more keyboard orientated), Oceans (77), Silent Cries & Mighty Echoes (79) & Colours (80), all of which are 4/5 material.
