Nice work, Huub

I especially like the picture of Christ (or is it ummagumma08) sitting on a commode

Did you do these from life, imagination, or inspired by known artists - either way, they're impressive.

Thank you!

Thats a (don't know the translation) Ets.. (one of the first pressing methods, with an tin or iron or whaterver plate.. scrach in it to get the image) made it in 30 minutes..

I do some from life (nature) some from inmagination (the christ is one of these) and inspired (the "sleeping" figure is from michaelangelo's sixtine's chapel)

Ow lol.. that's an other one.. thats not the "ets"

and no really.. he's not sitting on a toilet.. how does yours look like?
I think a piece of marble or such.. When I made it I didn't mind the thing on wich he's on.. only the figure (It's not jezus, I made some jezus works though! the "ets" for example)..

Doesn't everybody have a classically carved Italian marble lavatory, then? I personally always wear a toga & a thoughtful expression whilst..........

Sorry, RT, this tomfoolery is taking away from the main topic of this thread, my apologies

not some one on a comode.

It's a real good thing that you'll get drawing again, it also works very good wen you're in a dip. My dad for example really has a burn out (He is not a work-a-holic, he used to work as a sports teacher at "de cloese" (a little castle wich is used for policeeducation) in our little town, now all that is moved to a bigger location, they're now using computers ecetera.)
So I'm getting him to draw again (quite good accually) and while he is drawing he is just thinking and working things out, its getting better with him! So please don't ever stop with drawing once you're started again.. Show something here!
regards

P.s. I'm 17, not that there are misunderstandings of a 60 year old proghole with a dad with a burnout (NO OFFENCE)

I'm really glad you're getting your dad to draw again (quite inspiring, are you?)

I can always find a million excuses NOT to draw anything, but I'll definitely try again soon. I lost all my old equipment though, so first of all I'll have to relace that. Not that it's alot to replace, but I'm very lazy! I also need some inspiration. I used to draw old kings and queens when I was younger. Then later I moved on to rockstars hehe. I Once did a watercoler painting of Patti Smith, which is probably the thing I'm most proud of. I lost that aswell though. Well, my ex-boyfriend have probably thrown it out by now :S

I will post some here someday :)
