Basil Kirchin - Swiss Jazz Drummer - apparently one of the first ambient musicians and definetely ahead of his time also some jazzy songs as well.
White Noise (David Vorhous) - One of the first bands to use Synthesizers and to use a synthesizer on an album, The Electric Storm should definetely be in the archives.
Manfred Mann's Chapter Three -Spaced out jazz fusion pieces formed in the late 1960s and disbanded in the early 70s as Manfred Mann went on to form the Earth Band.
Thunderstone - Power Epic Metal group with occasional proggish Synthesizers.
