The next album that I want to buy is Tull's Thick as a Brick.  I've heard that the original vinyl release came with a joke newspaper related to the album's concept.  If I were to order a new copy of Thick on vinyl today, would I still get that newspaper?

The 25th Anniversary CD reissue has the newspaper cover in its entirety.

Most definitely. Also, it wasn't a joke newspaper. It was just part of the greatest concept album ever made. Ian Anderson spent more time on the newspaper than the music itself.

Also, just so you know, TAAB itself is one of the largest staples in prog. Good choice.

Thanks!  I'll order the album first chance I get!

I heard about how long the newspaper took to put together, which is why I want to make sure that, if I am to buy the essential album TAAB, I will get a copy.

The newspaper is gigantic.... also, I'm pretty sure that on the CD version, the bottom of every page of the newspaper is cut off, the booklet being too small to fit everything.

Be careful though. Later versions of the vinyl version did not have the full 16 pages (I think) of the newspaper. The newspaper in the original version is larger than the standard square of an LP,about 3 inches at the bottom folds in.

The CD does have all of the newspaper, but as mentioned earlier, they do cut off the bottom section, plus most of the text is too small to read.

Well, on my CD version, it has all the pages, but as I said, the bottom of every page is cut off. I don't know what version you have, NetsNJFan.
