Oh darnit.I forgot to mention Thomas Dolby,Cocteau Twins and The Blue Nile. They have plenty of "magical moments"in their songs. And Bowie-Warzawa.The Philip Glass version is evn better.

I won't mention all the moments, but there are some:

KING CRIMSON -- 'Starless' from "Red" -- ta ta ta taaaa, ta ta ta ta ta taaaa, ta ta ta taaa ta ta taa

PINK FLOYD -- 'Dogs' from "Animals" (the guitar barrage closer to the end with lots sub-orchestration in the background)

PINK FLOYD -- 'Atom Heart Mother Suite' from "Atom Heart Mother" (the moment when the choir explodes into the orchestrated section, followed by drums)

ÄNGLAGÅRD -- 'Höstsejd' from "Epilog" -- there are two almost identical moments in the song that send me a-shivering  well, you know what I am talking about

GENESIS -- 'Los Endos' from "Seconds Out" (the ultimate culmination of the best live album in the world)

And of course, the obvious 'Firth of Fifth' and 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond'
