Based on this thread, I just ordered a "like new" CD of Drama from Ebay. I am really psyched to check it out.

It's one of the few Yes albums I haven't heard. Up til now, I just couldn't imagine listening to Yes without Ander

Quote In my mind the four greatest Yes albums ever are: The Yes Album, Relayer, Drama, and Talk.

Huh?! Talk  blows!

Quote These albums show each Yes era at its peak.

My favourite Yes album may be Relayer, with CTTE close behind, but I LOVE Drama. Trevor Horn is OK at best really, but Steve Howe's and Chris Squire's backing vocals are good enough to sustain the whole thing. Geoff Downes' keyboards bring some much needed

[QUOTE=dropForge]Drama a classic? In my book = DEFINITELY. A true curveball from a band that was assumed to be on its last legs. "Machine Messiah," "Does It Really Happen?" and "Tempus Fugit"...outstanding. And Squire's bass playing on thi

I think we should look at it like this:

What if in 1980 Drama was the new Buggles record?  I think then (and now) the prog fraternity  would have lauded it as a great album by this great new prog band that sound qui

I love all this constant 'Drama' slating..No way near as bad or imbarresing as '90125' & 'Big generator' now they are bad.

The only reason Drama is bad, is because of the high standart of the previous albums. Judged purely on it's own merits (without the bagage of a Relayer or CTTE in the back of your mind while listening) it's quite an OK album, maybe even good.

I just received "Drama" and have played it about 5 times now, and I cannot stop myself from singing to myself "Ma-chine, ma-chine mes-si-ah, take me..." This is an awesome tune, literally. I don't think I've ever heard such terrifying guitar work f
