This Friday April 1st, DJ Iggy will be interviewing Ken Jaquess, bass player and songwriter for the new super-group K2 release "Book of the Dead". In addition to Ken, the album features the vocal talents of the late Shaun Guerin, guitarist Allan Holdsworth and Spocks Beard keyboardist Ryo Okomuto. Make sure to join us at 7pm Eastern and come to the chat so you can ask Ken questions. There are some amazing stories associated with the recording of this album and why it took 4 years to finish.
Just helping out...... |

Hey that is quick by the standards of some Holdsworth prog albums - Neverwasneverwillbe seems to have been taking a decade and it is a follow up to the great (and hugely obscure) Soma album, released c 1988 - btw I have two white label vinyl versions of that album, which Soma/Neverwasneverwillbe's leader Mark Gleed (aka Laurent) paid me for writing some certain liner notes................ |
