Anyone familiar with this festival? I've never been there, heard recordings of stuff from there that I love, some stuff's more clearly prog-something than other stuff, thought it worth posting anyway.

No, I'm not a Canadian myself, best friend moved to BC last year though, looks and sounds great out there...

It dosen't seem like a prog fest at all (no band names I recognise and I'm from the area) from what I read its more like an International contemporary music festival

Not a prog fest at all?, well, the music straddles a number of areas for sure, at least those I'm a bit familiar with. I think there's grey areas wherever two general realm of music meet, where it can be pretty elusive to pin down just what something is.
