OK let me clear something up. I in no way support what that reviewer said. My laughy face was at his idiocy, not at what he wrote. He is a troll, plain and simple folks. He is trying to bait you, make you angry; that's what trolls do. I was determined NOT to let him upset me; hence the laughy face. Heck, if you let every lamer on the internet ruin your day, you aren't going to have much fun online.

YES Relayer Review by Raelrules @ 5:10:16 AM EST, 4/5/2005
 — This album is superb period. Concerning le Plant's attack on Jon Anderson, his stance is paradoxal (not to mention just plain nasty and intolerant), in that he professes himself, an undisguised affection for sweat drenched male bodies, hairy torsos and perfectly suared jaws, go figure. All I can say is.. get a life !

 — Note to "Robert le Plant"; 1) John Anderson isn't gay. 2) So what if he was. 3) You are deliberately offensive and don't express yourself very well; you may have other issues in your life which explain this. 4) You don't like the album - that's perfectly OK. Lots of people more intelligent than you don't like it either. 5) I would be happy to read some more positive reviews from you, perhaps of albums that you do like. Smile and be happy.

I agree, this "review" clearly falls under the sanctions of Civility Guidelines, it is very abusive and intolerant and not related to music whatsoever.
I vote for removal!

 — Man, what the hell is the matter with Jon Anderson! This album prove sht at homosexuals can't sing or write music! Clearly! I mean klisten ot his whiney woman voice, sounds like he's trying to sing like Robert Plant, a cleatrly superior vocalist, but no queer can ever sing like Robert Plant, or stand on stage with such manly integrity. Sweat wouldn't look good on Jon Anderson's gay Chest, only that perfectly fur covered man chest of Robert Plant. Jon Anderson's ugly faggy monkey face is nothing like that perfectly squared Jaw of Robert Plant, and his beutiful thinking eyes penetrate in ways Jon Anderson's never could, and that's not the only thing you want Robert Plant ot penetr... Umm, so Relayer is a terrible album Stay away, uless you like ugly Gay people who can't sing!

I can't laugh at this rubbish. It is abusive, insulting to any the forum's gay members and to the Artist(s).
Please have this removed ASAP.

STRAWBS - Heartbreak Hill Review by rick petersen @ 9:03:57 PM EST, 4/4/2005
 — An attempt to recapture their mid-70's prog magic that fails miserably. Mimicry alone does not a good product make. The recipe: write some generic songs and dress them up in overly-familiar, proggy arrangements. Add an unlistenable production job that makes you think something's wrong with your stereo (a slightly tinny, canned sound with little presence). Cousin's voice was still intact, but it doesn't matter. This one's a stinker.

What's wrong with that one?

Absolutly nothing, maybe he could have been more precies in why it is a bad album, but there's little wrong with the review itself.
Get over it guys, only reviews that are NOT APROPRIATE, bad language, and band inten should be reported. i've seen already too many reviews here that are good in itself.

I disagree with that guy's review of AMLOR completely! But at least he
attempted to explain his (false) reasoning, and so of course it should
be kept. To each his own.
Nothing wrong with the review really, except for all his opinions and low rating of course

Nah I think that's a fine review. It waffles a bit (to make a somewhat hypocritical point), but it gives plenty of opinions about the album and goes some way to justify them.

PINK FLOYD A Momentary Lapse of Reason Review by pinkfloydlover @ 2:43:48 AM EST, 4/2/2005
 — if people really appreciate that music that Pink Floyd did, they would not buy this hideous excuse of an album. maybe two songs (learning to fly and sorrow) are good, but they don't even live up to expectations i had of this album. let's start with the first song, it's boring, ineffective, and poorly done. songs with lyrics, we can just kind of group those all into one description...the songwriters obviously were trying to overblow what they thought roger waters, who is the greatest songwriter in all of progressive/art rock, would write and just sort of made him seem like the guy who didn't care about what he was writing...here is some news for all of the songwriters on this album...HE CARED! im sure that he has probably heard the album and laughed when he heard the song "Dogs of War", which is probably THE worst Floyd song i have had the audacity to hear, i mean could it be more...horrible? then there are the "filler" tracks that don't necessarily need to be there at all, example a new machine pt. 1 and 2, i think GILMOUR put those in just to feel like he had taken control of the band and the music. they're boring, over-blown, and poorly written, and he said that "Vera" and "Bring the Boys Back Home" from "The Wall" were bad, but he must think this is good...please think twice before buying this...since I am a completionist and intend on having every one of their albums(I'm at 12), i bought it...as a matter of fact, i would get an iTunes account if i were you and just download the album and not waste your money. thank you for taking the time to read my criticism.
You're welcome, but it was time lost as far as I'm concerned .

What's wrong with this review?????????????????????????????

50% of it is basically speculations about Gilmour and Waters, and the reviewer's opinions aren't backed up with any attempts at describing the music, IMO.
Let M@X decide, though.

TOOL - Lateralus Review by Marco @ 4:42:54 PM EST, 4/2/2005
 — Hey guys, what are you listening to ? This is not prog, definitely ! Maybe is not a bad record of something else, but let me say, once again this is not prog and the maximum rate that it could reach is 2.... If you give 5 to this how many you have to give to Genesis Selling England by the pound, or ELP Tarkus, or Crimson In the wake of Poseidon...? Sorry for those who really like this music, but this is Progarchives..
Throroughly superfluous. How about talking about the album itself a little bit? Yet another review made solely to "make a point".
