Zao and heldon.
Haven't really heard art zoyd but I need drums in music so I probably won't get enough enjoyment from them. How does taal get more votes than zao? Lol. Ridiculous

All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

I like most of these.

But Art Zoyd demands my vote. Heldon, Taal, and MGP are close behind.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Setna have only two albums, so it's Art Zoyd
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I obviously leave out the more well known bands because they are gonna get all the votes anyway. It's also a nice way to introduce some bands many may not know.

The only 5 I'm familiar with on that list are.....Atoll, Zao, Heldon, MGP, and Lard Free.
It's a toss up for me between MGP and ZAO.
As some one mentioned above there are other bands like Ange, Pulsar, Clearlight, Shylock, Arachnoid, Artcane....

Very very tough call between Taal and MGP. I love MGP's albums better than Taal's debut, but Skymind is such a modern masterpiece that I just gotta vote for it.

A much stronger list than the German one in my opinion.
One Shot but Lard Free, MGP and  Zao are right there for me too.

I have often said that the French have never disappointed me in prog.  But this poll is severely deficient.  Where is Seven Reizh?  Where is Priam?  My God, where is Ange?

And should I even mention Magma?
