A thread on a Genesis book is not the right place to ask this - there is a forum for questions.

Good find, I picked up volume one and started it last night. I dunno, I love the concept but I thought Mr. Magrew could have been a lot more in depth. It was kind of a fun read, but for prog fans, we need something with more depth . . . what is the reason that The Night Hills are so terrifying? Tell us about the humans discovering the Sneedies. . . I dunno, it was a 'nice' read but I wasn't impressed. I'm hoping that the stories get better throughout the rest of volume one.

Thanks for the heads up, I was completely unaware of those publications. I have already acquired my own copies and cannot wait to dig into it!

I hadn't realised there were two more volumes, thanks for the heads up. Both are about £1.20 on Kindle.

I found this book in the web, and after bought it I casually found this topic, good! Now I finished the volume 1, in paperback, but I will buy the other in kindle. Good reading, some of the stories are just great in a very good development from the song lyric. A trick of the tail and Supper's ready are the best ones. A trick (Mr. Magrew's incredible journey) catched me from the begining. Dreaming while you sleep is the other good tale. Volume 2 seems to be better.

This book consists of short stories inspired by Genesis songs, including A Trick of the Tail and Supper's Ready. It's only £1.32 for the Kindle, you can't really go wrong. The interpretation of Supper's Ready is intriguing and there is a nice twist in some of the other stories.
