Yea, I was surprised as well. Both are excellent bands though, so I would have been happy with either.

Because they were losing right from the get go and as of yesterday were still down. I voted for them just so you know.

That's somewhat ridiculous, because "FIZL" means "SNOOPER" in Czech (probably borrowed from German).

Hm, have to break out the tie-breaker, whoever has the highest average rating.
Shub's average: 3.14 Eider's average: 3.4
Eider Stellaire barely scrapes by. Poll closed.

I have Eider Stellaire excellent debut and only heard Shub's videos posted here. The first one didn't thrill me at all but the second was very good. Any way I'm gonna tie the score.

Bump. I'll push back the deadline to try to get more votes. Same with the other poll too.

I slightly lean towards Shub-Niggurath, but these are two of my favourites in Zeuhl, so I don't think I'll vote. I'd be happy for either of these to make the finals.

Shub for me as well. Les Mort is a masterpiece of extreme music.

The first two albums of Shub Niggurath are excellent but the Eider Stellaire one is simply beautiful. Let's say that from the samples posted I'd have chosen the first. Yog Sototh is one of the few tracks which are able to recreate the dark atmospheres of Lovecraft's stories together with the Azrael's Azatoth.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution
