I almost bought Anglagard Hybris for 45$ (cheapest I found, very rare CD), but I finnaly changed mind...

Wow. I found it for 15$. (The Godspeed one)

Are you serious? 15 for that double CD?... damn...

Yes. In fact, I've saw today for 13 dollars!

I bought it for $13.99

I don't remember having paid more than 30$ CAN for a record, but it probably happened a couples of times.

the most expensive one I remember is Oldfield's Amarok @ 26$ + taxes CD.

Most of the records I've bought are used, so that i've got very interesting bargains:

i bought the solution - cordon bleu for 0.99$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've got all the good pop music LP's of the 80's (police, simple minds, thompson twins, billy idol, spandau ballet... for a ridiculous 0.99$ each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

my proudest acquisition was the 4 first Fixx albums for 3.96$ (0.99$ each!!!!!!!!!!!)

I remember that the used Zappa's LP were VERY expensive!! it was not rare to see the prices at 20$ for his double albums like them or us or you are what you is.

I clearly remember i have bought pallas - the wedge LP for 18$: it was in 1987!!

I also remember Pete Sinfield's LP at 20$ USED!

also, ramases - space hymns  used LP at 20$

I think Zappa's freak out was past 30$ used LP.

quebec city and montreal were VERY good places in the 80's and 90's to find almost whatever LP you want for ridiculous prices: i was told and believe Plateau Mont Royal was the best place IN THE WORLD to buy & find any LP, especially prog music.

I think $30. I can't remember what though

The most i've seen would be $40 for Zappa's Joe Garage (all three acts) and The Shut Up....series. Haven't had the heart (nor cash) to buy thems yet though. Still looking for them cheaper.

Also, JT's "A" costed $25 because its an import.

Also I bought Led Zep's complete studio recordings box for$125. Expensive, worth it

It's $20 at Costco? Awesome. I've been putting off buying that album for a long time now because it's so expensive everywhere else.

I only saw it there once. It mysterically disappeared...

Being the "Holdsworth" fanatic that I am, I spent between 30 to 40 dollars on some imports for Allan's more obscure works.

the most I did was $15 or so.  I get mine on ebay, hopefully I won't pay $1,200 for one but I just got Day for Night by Spock's Beard for $0.88 and Fugazi and Clutching at Straws by Marillion for a total of $12 or so

I got Angladgard's Hybris from www.znrcds.com for like 17 bucks.   Their specialty is progressive music.

The beatles - white album, 16 quid (a bargain) or about $35cdn

i tend to never buy CDs over $25cdn, anything over i can usually find cheaper by shopping around
I asked Bobby Dylan
I asked the Beatles
I asked Timothy Leary
But he couldn't help me either

Ulver's new album that was just released this past week is already expensive...well, their velvet limited edition version that is.  It went on sale on ebay for $102.50   I really want the limited edition too  I'll just have to settle for the regular version...
