1. Camel
2. Snow Goose
3. Moonmadness
4. Mirage
5. Harbour of tears
I would like to add that no.1 really sticks out for me. Never let go is their best song ever.
The league I (personally) would put them in is first division but I think their overall standard/historical reputation is Premier League but then not the upper half.
In fact I made a list recently based upon the number of ratings for the great bands on this site and there they appeared to be 9th just below Jethro Tull and just above Marillion ...

I don't really understand the European sports (I'm assuming) references, but I think it's safe to place them in the majors (for Americans more accustomed to baseball).
Top albums: 1. Snowgoose 2. Moonmadness 3. A Nod And A Wink 4. Camel 5. Rain Dances

1st division is my vote, not quite for premier league (where are and forever stayes Gentle Giant, Uriah Heep, Renaissance, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Genesis, Van Der Graaf Generator, etc.), because in the 80's they were like many old school bands with a foot in the gutter, almost mediocre prog with pop leanings on all the albums, ex.Single factor is a weak album in every way, the '90's are much better than the '80's for Camel almost at the same level with the '70's, albums like Dust and dreams or Rajaz are quite good and very enjoyble, anyway a great band that made some classics, but as a whole only 1st division, witch is not bad at all.
1. Mirage
2. Breathless
3. Snow goose
4.Moonmadness
5.Dust and dreams

Premier League without a doubt!
They had offered a few magnificent albums to progressive music, especially Moonmadness and The Snow Goose. Perhaps some people think they are just quite good because they create simplistic prog, but the fact is that their music is both easy to get and so beautiful, which is pretty rare.

To me, yes, they're premier league. Their "trilogy" are indeed their best albums, all masterpieces, but I also like a lot A Nod and a Wink, their most recent effort, which shows Latimer still has really interesting music to do! So my top five:
1-Moonmadness (I worship this album, it's on my top 5 of all bands) 2-Mirage 3-The Snow Goose 4-A Nod and a Wink 5-Rain Dances

Now that I see their trilogy in top 20 symphonic prog albuns, i think there's no doubt that they are Premier League. So I voted well some time ago.

You gotta add Camel, Nude and I can see your house from here. They are pretty cool albums. Camel are better than Crimson imo. Better song writers. Camel are premier league

I don't know that much Camel (read: I've got Mirage, and just now The Snow Goose), but Lady Fantasy alone can compete with (not win against, but anyway...) The Musical Box and Epitaph. If Mirage is anything to go by, they certainly are premier material.

With their outstanding musicianship, conceptualization and realization of musical ideas, Camel frankly gets less credit than they deserve. Hardly as inventive or as adventuresome in a general sense as King Crimson , nor as poetic as Yes, nor as outlandish and theatrical as early Genesis, their first four albums included an embarassment of riches of interesting, tasteful and well constructed musical material. There was a consistency in those efforts that frankly exceeds that of much of the output of the other bands mentioned. I have said it before and will probably say it again, Snow Goose is the standardbearer of symphonic progressive rock concepts. For this effort alone, they made it as a premier band. In general, the late Peter Bardens' keyboard work was terribly underrated as is Latimer's guitar and keyboard work. The rhythm section of Ward and Ferguson wasn't too shabby either. The biggest liability of classical lineup of the band, in my opinion, are the weak vocals. For many, the later output that included sensational reed player Mel Collins added an additional and exciting facet to their sound. Although I am a fan of Collins, particularly due to his relationship with King Crimson, I frankly am not familiar with all of his Camel output so I will defer judgment on the matter. Snow Goose is a decidedly 5 star recording, and, in my opinion, Moonmadness, their eponymous debut album and Mirage all rate at levels of 4 to 4+ stars. This puts them in the premier league, folks.

It didn't happen that way, my friend...
England 1966: Quarter-finals provided surprisingly referee designation.
- West Germany 4 - Uruguay 0. The referee was Jim Finney, from England...
Hard match (both sides). The referee sent off two players from Uruguay, no one from Germany...
- England 1 - Argentina 0. The referee was Rudolf Kreitlein, from W. Germany...
England won with a combative 1-0 thanks to a goal from striker Geoff Hurst.
According to The Observer newspaper, "with 10 minutes left in the first half, the referee sent Rattín off for 'violence of the tongue', even though Kreitlein spoke no Spanish." Rattín's intention appeared to have been to speak with the referee, as according to the Argentines he was ruling in favour of the English team. Rattín made a visible signal showing his captain's armband and intention to call a translator. Rattín at first refused to leave the field and eventually had to be escorted by several policemen.
At this point, all semifinalists (including Germany & England) were from Europe.
But remember: This was so far in the past.
As in many other parts of the world, football (like rugby and other sports) was introduced to Argentina by the British.
(Buenos Aires had a large expatriate British community of some 40,000 people)
And some high-profile Argentine footballers have played and still play in the English Premiership: among them Osvaldo Ardiles (Tottenham Hotspur), Juan Sebastián Verón (Manchester United and Chelsea), Julio Arca (Middlesbrough), Hernán Crespo (Chelsea), Carlos Tévez (West Ham United and Manchester United), Javier Mascherano (West Ham United and Liverpool) and Gabriel Heinze (Manchester United). The Argentine players at English clubs have been regarded with respect and admiration by fans. For instance, Manchester United fans regularly chanted Ar-gen-tina! during matches in which Gabriel Heinze played for the team. Also, Argentine players have spoken of the warm welcome they have received.
And... Sir Alf Ramsey (lately) was right: Argentines are Pumas now!!!

Presumably, the usual prejudice from down south. For a small country, the standard of the game in Scotland is OK. I follow a Division 3 team and its probably no worse than the Conference in England. At higher levels, all three Scottish club sides won their European ties this week against class opposition (is Milan - current champs, Lyon - French Champs, and Ukraine's finest.
Bias aside, Camel should probably be Premiership.

Premier league, my all time favourite prog band. They have their weaker albums as well (Breathless, House), but I really like most of their poppier stuff too. Mirage, The Snow Goose and Moonmadness are five star masterpieces, and Rajaz and A Nod and a Wink are pretty damn close.
