^ You should just delete the entire thread, its meaningless anyway at this point. We all were trying to help in some way.

I know how it works and we are mindful of campus networks, libraries etc.
However one only has to read the two posts to know. Truth is I suspected the motives of the thread from the outset. You'd just go to Amazon... Edited by Tony R - September 16 2011 at 14:06 |

Actually, yes. Like I said, I agree this is a spammer, but for instance, if you posted from any of the dorms on campus at my Uni, it would look like ti came from the same ip address. It's the concept of a WAN ip, You have one address that you show the public net, instead of it seeing each individual PCs ip address. It's both for security and to conserve address space. It's only gonna get more convoluted since IPv4 is out of address space and ppl are dragging tail about converting to 6, so whole giant sections of the internet will prolly be goign thru NAT traversal before too long. You may know all this already, I dunno, but I managed a site for a while and accidentally banned half the campus because of one guy. |

And yet also dumb ... if that box set is legit, they can just post it in one of the Prog News sections.

Should have known it was spam. No self respecting music lover would sit by and let one of their kids play with and destroy their collection.

The exact same IP address? I've got an Uncle in the Nigerian Treasury who needs to move $200 Million ASAP. Just send me your bank details and you can have 10% facilitation fee. |

Erm, it's possible they just went thru the same gateway isn't it? I mean your prolly rite, my money is on spammer too, but just know that thru the joy of things like NAT traversal, people can appear to be posting from the same location when they aren't.

Why didn't you just tell "her" yourself or would you look as stupid as you think we are talking to yourself? IPs are logged you clown and this post and the OP are from the same computer. Because I am a nasty man I am going to suspend you "both" and remove the links and replace with a link to Kansas' own site. Edited by Tony R - September 16 2011 at 10:34 |

<p ="Msonormal">Nicole, you’re in luck! I use this site [http://www.kansasband.com/ all the time to get discounts on music collections and such and I actually saw that they had the works of Kansas on there the other day at http://www.kansasband.com/ I was actually considering buying it myself. I think it was like $80 or something like that, which is a really good deal for such a famous rock artist. Good luck and happy anniversary! <!--EndFragment--> Edited by Tony R - September 16 2011 at 10:35 |

^sounds like the best option so far. That really is cheap and those five albums are definitely among their best. Too bad it doesn´t include "Point of Know Return" though. Then you would have all the Kansas albums you need
...oh damn I forgot:
you should get that one too.
...and Amazon is usually a good place to purchase music at a reasonable price. Edited by UMUR - September 16 2011 at 02:17 |

There is a very cheap box set (£10.99) which includes their first five albums (up to inc Point Of Know Return). Amazing value as you get all their classic albums in one set. No brainer if you want my opinion.

Point of Know Return is Kansas's best album.
Let the off topicness begin.

I don't think the issue of convincing her that Kansas is a great band is the problem.........She seems to be looking for the most convenient, quickest way to purchase and receive Kansas material.
