very interesting poll... to be honest y dont know my answer.... si difficult because i found favourite tracks in song 1, or 2, or 3, or last etc...

Its always either the first or the last track in most of my collection. You've got to start and end with a bang.

Steve Vai has an interesting concept: Track 7 on his albums is ALWAYS a ballad. That's why his ballad album is titled "7th song".
Other than that, I really don't know any more interesting stories about track numbers.

there is a trend though, 1 song (side A or B), last song of either side, third song, second or penultimate song.
but the question was best song on the album, which in Script's case is The Web
