I've never heard Trace either.  However, 'The 6 Wives' turned me to 'Punk'.  ha ha! So I vote for Trace. (tsk tsk naughty).  (I've voiced my opinion of this album (6) before and had various rotten fruit and veg hurled my way! ).
Help me I'm falling!

Never heard Trace but I can't imagine it being better than Six Wives.

I don't know Trace either but not knowing one of two poll choices has never stopped me from voting before.  Sounds like I need to check them out.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Really don't mind if you sit this one out.

If it was Trace's Birds I might vote for them but as the poll is, Wakeman.

I love Wakeman's album, though I don't know Trace... so I won't vote.

I find Trace's s/t debut a bit more heavy and faster but also a bit more bombastic than Wakeman's Six Wives so I just barely give the nod to Trace. Rick van der Linden is a wizard on the keys also.

Then why do you vote Wakeman if you haven't heard Trace?. No vote for me. I like both pretty much the same. Near 4 star albums.

Question

I vote "Trace" as StarStarStarStar  and "The Six Waves Of Henry VIII" as StarStarStarStarStar. So I vote for Rick's "The Six Wives Of Henry VIII".
