I think we all would have liked to see a live 8 concert with Pink Floyd as the only artist.... but as though it has been such a looooonnnnngggg time ago, I think we should be happie with just that what they gave us, and that's more then the last ten years!

I'm hoping for Dogs too... but highly doubt they'll play it.  Personally I would be just happy seeing Comfortably Numb done again with Roger doing the verses and Dave the chorus... just like old times...  and maybe Roger will remember what its like playing with a real guitarist...

...And that was exactly how it happened with Comfortably Numb. Awesome to watch wasn't Linda

Now most of the show lists are showing the three songs as "Money", "Comfortably Numb" and "Wish You Were Here"

Also... you gotta love this:

I say Dave's wife, Polly, is looking really good after 4 kids... we should all be so lucky!

OK, guys, let's stop wondering. I can tell you which tunes they will play. Only these three: "Breathe", "Comfortably Numb" and "Wish You Were Here".

So it seems like Waters will be there just to play the bass.... It won't be a bad set after all

To tell you all the truth, I don't think it is important what they will play, it's important That they play. (hope they don't get in to another fight )

For me it's the first chance I have to see them the way they are supposed to be, live with Roger Waters, I've only seen the division Bell concert in Rotterdam. And I'm diying to see Roger in Action after all those years.

Maybe they will notice that they don't dislike eachother as much as they think, and will start to tour again (I know, wishfull thinking )

Rebecca

The last two "Pink Floyd" albums are absolutely atrocious, period.

I'd like to se some stuff from AMLOR and Division Bell performed with Waters. Also it'll be interesting to see if they do any Final Cut songs live for the first time.

dogs and pigs, the long versions of almost 20 minutes. Or Atom heart mother. But I would be very happy when they don't bash each-others heads in, and planning a new tour would be great

Division Bell/Momentary Lapse of Reason may not be played at all with Roger's presence they could but very unlikely.

Songs from DSOTM and WYWH and TW are very likely to be played.

It will probably go like this...

01. "Wish You Were Here"
02. "Another Brick in the Wall Part 2"
03. "Money"
04. "Comfortably Numb"

Although I'd loved to be proven wrong. I'm really really hoping they'll do some Animals... Roger has never performed "Sheep" solo, and the band rehearsed it for the AMLOR Tour before dropping it last minute... and it's the shortest of the three main songs... so I hope they'll seriously consider it.

Have you heard High Hopes? honestly....

but enough of that...

Id like to hear Dogs, Fearless(Id say High Hopes, but I doubt it with Roger Back), Saucerfull Of Secrets, and Echoes

not going to happen though

yes i have heard high hopes and i enjoy it very much, but i'm paraphrasing. almost anyone will agree that reviving the Floyd, save for a few good songs, was probably not worth tarnishing the Floyd's previous nearly flawless repritoire. (i like your set list)

I happen to know about 300 or more people on a few PF fan sites that would totally disagree with you.. and I'm one of them.  I personally think TDB is Floyds 3rd best album... and that guitar beginning to 'Coming Back to Life' is one of the most beautiful moments in music history.

And the 'without soul' statement is about as lame as they come.  Dave has never played anything in his life.. without soul... give me a break!

what about "seamus"? or "the narrow way" (like 'em both, but devoid of much "soul") they have their moments, but overall, they cannot compare, as is the case with "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" which is my main concern. To be honest I haven't heard "Division Bell," and i am not railing against that album. If MLOR you love, then that's for you and that's cool.
