File Manager is not allowing files to be " selected" for deletion to enable freeing up space for jpgs etc. It does not recognise " Selected" files as selected.

Please report timeouts, I changed something and hopefully will reduce them.
Thanks

I actually get those errors a few times a day still. I just got the red error message after I tried to post in the Shred Room just now.

I haven't had any of these errors in the last few days: lack of permissions to post, timing out, and "the form was not submitted because there were problems with the form". Hopefully it stays like this

I've made some research and I point out that the databases backup (6 times a day) create some bottlenecks on the hard disk and timeouts occurs .
I am looking for a solution right now to have backups made on an external drive to prevent this, hopefully fix the timeouts issue.
Stay tuned and thanks for reporting

A new bug, not really relevant, but really bizarre: When I went to TOP 100 list and wanted to create a new customized list, I picked Crossover Prog... ...and clicked 'Submit'. So far so good. The list gets generated, but when I scroll up to pick another sub-genre, I noticed multiple genres were selected: Similar thing happened when I picked Prog Folk: it selected Prog Folk and RIO/Avant Prog. When I picked Symphonic Prog, it highlighted Symphonic Prog, Tech/Extreme, Eclectic, Post Metal and Heavy Prog. The other genres are fine. It doesn't work the other way around (selecting Avant won't select Folk). It's not much of an issue, because the chart itself is okay, it will display only one genre regardless of multiple highlights. It's just confusing and bizarre. I wasn't checking behaviour with different parameters (year, country, recording type, number of ratings), because there are more than 6,4 x 10^868 combinations.

I can't get to the band lists on the genre pages. I only get the top half where the best albums are shown. When I scroll down to find the band list it stops and I see this:
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'
Script timed out
/subgenre.asp
The maximum amount of time for a script to
execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new
value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in
the IIS administration tools.

^ That is similar to a bug that I get regularly from my first day on the PA forums. When I come back to PA after a day, there are around 5 or 6 pages of active threads (which I get by clicking on New Posts). Sometimes, after I check the threads from the first page of the first pages, when I click to go on the next page of active threads, my cookies are lost and everything appears as read, and I am only shown the last active threads from my last visit which apparently was 20 minutes ago. This is the thing I hate most about PA forums.

and another thing, today (for the first time) every time I have visited PA, the unread topics appear as normal in the "forum home" view, but as soon as I click on a subforum everything already appears to be read, which makes it a pain to pick up a topic where I left off

this is happening again today

The one I get periodically is a popup that says something to the effect that the form contained corrupted data. But only on quick reply. What is weird is that sometimes it has already accepted the post and sometimes not. Then it accuses me of spamming. Minor inconvenience.

I had several of these problems early this morning, twice when posting a reply, but it seemed to correct itself in a few seconds.
