to this count as strong evidence http://www.pink-floyd.org/artint/rc032000.htm

David Gilmour: I got a production credit, and there's a feeling in some quarters that not everyone got the credit they deserved. Roger has spent too much time trying to denigrate the efforts of myself, Ezrin and just about everyone else. But those who deserved credit got it. Rick was a hired hand for the shows, yes, but he was a full band member for the sessions. Michael [Kamen] or Bob [Ezrin] might've come in and played a few keys if Rick wasn't around, and Freddie Mandell played Hammond on "In The Flesh, Parts 1 and 2", because Rick for some reason wouldn't get his elbow on the keyboards. Jeff Porcaro drummed on "Mother" because it wasn't working with Nick, and Jeff's father, Joe, played snare on "Bring The Boys Back Home". Lee Ritenour played one of the two high strums on "Comfortably Numb" and some rhythm guitar on "Is There Anybody Out There?". I tried it with ten different leather picks and I just couldn't pick it smoothly enough. I'm not masochistic and sometimes I get a guitar part out of here (points to his heart) that these things (fingers) won't f**king do!

I think we need to be careful in such situations, It's easy to claim you appeared uncredited. Undoubtedly, there will be uncredited musicians on some recordings, but i think there should be strong evidence to support the claim before we list them here. Reviewers can of course include such credits in their reviews if they wish.

We don't record the non-performing roles as rule (producer, engineer etc.

if you happen to know that on a certain album a Session musician (who was not listed on the albums liner notes) but later are reveald to play on songs on then album, also when it happens, that particular song also is one of the most popular songs on that album (and not only a small album)

I will highlight (this might not be much of a big deal ) but the Wall album released by Pink Floyd is known to have featured session musicians on certain spots.

Joe Porcaro plays the Snare Drum solo on Bring th e Boys Back, and he's son Jeff plays on the track Mother.

I only find it is to lesser extent important to creditt players (espessially on such a popular album and also when the songs are also popular among fans)
