Isn't there a recommendation list on the home-page, aswel as a list for every subgenre, also at each album review there are some albums mentioned that could be considered recommendations. How much recommendations do we need

and if it is done, some awesome superdoopa script could use the database to make something like "If you like ____, then you will most likely like ______"

It would be great if we could make recommendations in a more permanent way:

- Each member can enter three recommendations in the account settings (Just the name of the band, to reduce spelling duplicities)
- On a special page, these recommendations are listed in descending order (Top N recommendations)
- In the forum posts, the recommendations could be listed below the signature, along with a timestamp (last edited)
- After a month, the recommendations expire (they are removed from the settings, the member receives an Email to remind him to update the settings)


The expiry of recommendations will help keep the list up to date, and it's definitely easier to follow as the huge "What's in your CD player" thread.
