I was lazy and didn't read the rules. It was sort of a shorthand rebus

"Time takes a cigarette, puts it on your mouth. You pull on your finger, then another finger then the cigarette..."

Bowie's Rock and Roll Suicide. Tongue

You miss a lot of pictures there. Remenber it's one picture(/s) for each word. Wink

My 1st attempt, should be easy. I just noticed the title is Progressive Rebus so please excuse the debatable deviation. This is a lyrical phrase from a song by an artist that that may or may not be considered prog:

Pardon my ignorance, but who is that Blue character? I got the train right (though it could have been "sneak" as well LOL) but couldn’t find the name of the guy. I probably don’t watch enough TV.

Since everybody seems to have lost interest in the Progressive Rebus I (as the inventor) think it's best to end the game. Thanks to everybody who participated all this time, it's been loads of fun. Maybe in a couple of month we'll see a reincarnation of the game. The last puzzle (the one above) was Battle of The Birds by Anthony Phillips (just in case anybody's interested).

Haven't been around for some days, but now I'm back and see, that we're without a new puzzle.

So here we go, the name of a musician:

"We've got to get in to get out"
