This is pretty good stuff.  The vocals are definitely different being put more in the background of the music and it seems like they are trying to be more a part of the music than having the frontman kind of feel I get from most progressive bands.  The vocals and the musical styling reminds me very much of Tool.  They aren't as technical as Tool but I kinda get the feeling that they don't want to be.  It's very nice music and I look forward to seeing them on the progressive scene in the future.

ManInFeast

Born in the middle of 2008, ManInFeast is a conceptual project that starts from the will to create an open-minded sonority with the fusion of different music styles and convey introspective messages by music’s subliminary verdict.

How One Becomes What One Is

The debut album “How One Becomes What One Is” is a fusion of ambiental sonorities and explosive riffs with catchy vocals and dissonant chords. It was recorded at Blind & Lost Studios, and produced by Guilhermino Martins (ThanatoSchizO).

“How One Becomes What One Is” features the guest appearances of Guilhermino Martins executing keybords on “Ewige Wiederkunft” and working sampling all over the album, and also the collaboration of Francisco Pina working the samplings on “Keynesian Model” and ambient samples of “Ewige Wiederkunft”. The Artwork and all layouts were designed by Helder Pedro Moreira (helderpedro.com).

Conceptual lines

It was created as a conceptual musical journey about men’s knowledge insatiable hunger. In its guidelines it was inspired by the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, the thoughts of the financial theorist Lord John Maynard Keynes and also Madame Blavatsky’s book “The voice of the silence”.
