I listened to one track on their myspace, there is some reggae in it, but oddly enough they don't cite a single reggae band as influences (hip-hop : roots and erykah badu but no reggae). p-funk is also one of their influences, therefore you would be interested in all those recent compilations of african music blending psychedelic rock and fuzz funk (cf the "afro-prog thread). Oh, and Blue cheer is also among their references, not only for the graphism I guess, but also for the proto-stoner sound.

Yes, I know it was directed to me, just wanted to know what was the real meaning of it.
I'm not sure if it's an album that grows on you or not, I loved it at first listen, but it's definitely not a complex prog album whatsoever. It's a tranquil and dark little prog record.
