Arena gets it ever time. IQ are very good as well if you can get your brain to listen beyond the very irritating engineering on the drumming. It is far too pronounced and spoils it for me. Try listening to Ever and see what I mean. It's better on Dark Matter.

How about "Progressive Rock". An alien concept i know! I voted IQ...because they're the only band out of those listed that i've seen/heard. They're a great band. |

Pendragon. They're not really innovative, but I think they're fantastic. I love The Jewel, Kow Tow, The Window Of Life And The Masquerade Overture, and even The Rest Of Pendragon and some songs on Somewhere In England. |

I very much voted for IQ in this poll... awesome. Tuxon; might I suggest you buy Children (1995) or A Story Two Days Wide (1999) by Illuvatar; they are both great albums, although if you put Jadis at the bottom of your list (a crime in my book... get yourself a copy of the live album, 'When Daylight Fades' and hear the error of your ways), they may be a bit too light for you!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
