Overall a good production, VICI!
'Earth' is a nice song oriented at Pink Floyd (the later more mainstream phase). As for the prog proportion we have to search for I must say there are many popular rock elements though. This sounds way too polished - I'm missing edgy resp. experimental moments. Don't want to be misunderstood - excellent musicianship - but I see less chances for the band to be accepted by the psych/space team according to the thread title. |

... or rather, a listen. There's not much to see on the MySpace. Got a bit more info on line up, influences etc.?
The first notes of Sunrise made me think Circa (former Yes), but after that it changes to something more straight forward rock than I expected. Won't let that be my overall judgement, but I'm going to have a better listen to the other four, longer tracks - there's a promise of 'old prog rock bands' in there for sure. I'll get back to this. |
