I'm not sure on Area as I need to hear more before making a clear judgement... (that's the highest priority on my list ![Clap](smileys/smiley32.gif) ), but my favorite Gong album is probably You. Then the rest of the trilogy and Gazeuse.

Better than filler! Gong = the trilogy obviously as well as Gazeuse and Shamal. Area= Areazione

I know some of their staff. Both great. I voted gong cause I feel they are much more important and influencial to prog.

I can't vote becuase I really enjoy both bands equally! both essecials! maybe Gong will win becuase they are still around! and Area isn't.

Yeah nothing feminine about a Gong! But like febus, I have a soft spot for Howlett-Blake-Moerlen-Hillage and Malherbe in particular , plus that Allen guy!
