I am insanely jealous of you for all the Yes shows you saw. Especially in the classic years. I've only seen them 3 times (Drama, 90125, and Masterworks).

I am absolutely KICKING myself for all the times I could have seen them but didn't!    AARRGGGHHHH!!!

Hey everyone, way too much speculation here! I know that a legion of PA forum members are under 21 years old, but realize that life doesn't necessarily end after reaching 60 because of health. C'mon, 15 and 18 year olds die every day too. Every individual is unique. I will never forgot seeing the great drummer Buddy Rich performing in the 1970's when he was in his 70's! And he kicked ass over any prog drummer I can think of. He was totally amazing. And it's about attitude also. Jon Anderson seems to be a very hard working musician, with a love of life, and a positive outlook. That is healing in itself. Don't count Jon or Yes out yet. I think they'll be back. They have so many fans that love them.How many aging prog rock groups that you know of can still fill the large arenas and venues like they do? Not many! Long live YES!

Spot on, NaturalScience. Thanks for understanding the unique situation of people such as myself. Of course I want Jon to get better, but I'd kill to see the band touring again (would have been my first time). Obviously a healthy tour is preferable to an ill-fated/canceled one for me.

I couldn't afford the tickets anyway. At the closest venue tickets were about $70 for the crappy seats, and about $130 for decent ones. I'll be seeing Crimson for less than half of that.

If the singer and keyboardist are in bad health, maybe it's time for a Drama lineup reunion? Without Jon or Rick, they'd more than likely be playing smaller/cheaper venues. I'd pay to see that.

I hope Jon gets well, I will be praying for him. Obviously his health is of more importance, but I do hope to see them live just once before they retire for good.

Above all else, here's hoping Jon makes a full and speedy recovery.

This is, while deeply saddening, a relief for my pocketbook. Still, get well soon Jon and I hope to see Yes in the future.

I had been in contact with Jon fairly frequently from November through February. He works and pushes himself very hard. During that time he was on the road for 12 weeks between solo shows and the School of Rock dates. When he's not on the road he's writing and recording new material. I was surprised by his continued ambition to create music.

My guess (opinion) is he may need an extended period to really rest up and heal. He will be back
and strong as ever. This may be a wake up call, "Jon, you're 64, not 24!" :-). I truly believe in his mind he feels 24. TZ

It's official for sure.  I just received my cancellation notice from LiveNation for the Kansas City show.  Hope Jon is okay and all, but this really sucks.  Last time I saw Yes was here, and I figure this time around was going to be a lot better.
