One needn't over-analyse music to have a preference.  The topic starter didn't ask one to compare them (or contrast them for that matter), just asked which people like more.  Mind you, I always do compare/ contrast qualities in my mind when seeing these kinds of polls.

Menudo and Zao sound very different (not totally different), but I can easily say that I prefer Zao, and I prefer bands that make music like Zao.

Of course, there are often times that I will like both bands equally in its own way.  I'm not that familiar with these choices, so I won't vote.  Often it's easier to have a preference when they're very different (e.g. Neal Morse vs. Philippe Besombes).

Don't ask me, I don't care for polls that mix apples and oranges, but perhaps this is mixing an orange and a tangerine. Tongue

But apples and oranges go so well in a fruit salad.

(Can't believe I'm doing this...LOL)

But you have to choose which are best: apples or oranges? Tongue

votka & fresh orange juice is miles above better than that cider, imho.

And votka goes so well with tomato juice as well.

The romantic warrior is the best jazz/fusion album I have ever heard! ...I cant say the same about Arthur

I seen poor comparisons, but this one takes the lead:

How can you compare a JAZZ album with excellent jamming and performances with a full Symphonic Medieval album with almost classical moiments perfectly structured with almost no place for improvisation?

Why not compare Louis Armstrong with Jean Michel Jarre?

Please, there's no possible way to compare them, except because both have a Medieval Related name.

I like Symphonic more than Jazz, but I have both albums and love them, can't compare apples with shrimps.

I go with Romantic Warrior, but only because I am a huge fan of fusion and RTF in particular. King Arthur is also a great album.
Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it.

Romantic Warrior but it seems a bit odd putting these albums up against each other.

King Arthur. To me this is the perfect Wakeman album, maintaining and refining the good points about Six Wives (viruosity, awesome composition) and Journey (orchestral arrangements, interesting concept).

The orchestra is genial, but the moog is tremendous!

Hey give some credit to the poller ZiCyThumbs%20Up: that's something different and why not?

At least this is  not about ''Super's ready'' for once or other 136th battle between Hackett and Howe to know which one is the best.
Corea-Wakeman, that's fresh for once.

King Arthur for me. I don't really care for jazz/fusion even if it IS somewhat medieval oriented.

by the way, the link between the albums is that supposedly Chick Corea was influenced by some of Rick Wakeman's work, so shut up and vote.
