Incredibly informative book for about $10 bucks!

This postcard size little book is 124 pages serving but one purpose.  To give the reader as much information as possible about the recording of Piper and the activities of the Floyd during this critical period.  That's it.

It's not a book about Dark Side, Roger and David's bickering, or Syd's myths.  It's about the band in the studio, how they came up with Piper, worked with Norman Smith, and created a masterpiece.  Syd's problems are obviously mentioned but only as they affected the process, not in a gossipy tabloid manner.

If you love early Floyd and want to know how Piper came about, it's a no brainer given the price tag.  Highly recommended.
