Amnesiac. Amnesiac, Kid A, and Hail to the Thief are all practically mainstays in my top 10 all-time albums. Yes, I like them that much.

I have Hail to the Thief, OK Computer, and Kid A; but I haven't decided if I like Radiohead or not yet. I am also a little bit hazy regarding their actually progginess. I suppose I am a bit agnostic here. I am not saying they are not prog, but I am just not sure that they are. |
...Who cares if they're prog? When I'm listening to some music, I don't rate my enjoyment based on how proggy it is, just on how good the music is - and Radiohead's music is excellent.
Also, I'll go with OK Computer; a true masterpiece of alt-rock.

OK computer for me. It is right up there with DSOTM when it comes to being seemless the way the tracks flow together.

Kid A and OK Computer are absolutely perfect IMO. Kid A wins by just a hair.
And I still adore the Bends as well, it just has some inconsistent moments.

in reference to slartibartfasts comment
well theyve written the actual music, and theyve recorded it, but they havent ya know, 'manipulated' it yet. apparently, but the core of the albums made.
I havent voted but ive been waiting for the new album for 4 years now and I really hope it doesnt end up like star wars the phantom menace.ya know everyone hypes it up and then you finally listen to it and think its average becuase of the expectations.

For those who care, their new albums been finished, well theyve finisheedd recording it, but before releasing it they have to get a record company, mix it and produce it etc, word is that itll be out early next year!ive never had the pleasure of seeing them live so when they do a tour im defnitiely going, has anyone seen them live?
oh and also, just realised im now a groupie! |
I saw them at Glastonbury. I was cold, wet, miserable, in dire need of a decent bath, pi sed on cheap wine and up to my knees in mud. Perfect -
Amnesiac this week; last week OK Computer; week before The Bends; next week? who knows... I fancy hearing some Creep.

Eh, I hated them when I first heard them. For an entire album to check out, however, I'd suggest the Bends. A brilliant high strong album!

For some reason i really really dig The Bends. Just an all around excellent album. It was the first full Radiohead album ive ever heard too. But after more listening ive concluded that their best, IMO, is OK computer.

I voted Hail to the Thief, it kept the experimentation of Kid A and Amnesiac but mixed in the Energy of The Bends. All there albums are amazing, and it's very close, but HttT takes it.

^ With you on this one Cuncuna. Although Radiohead is one of my favourite bands and every album deserver an important mention IMO.
I really love Pablo Honey, The Bends, OKputer, Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, all EPs and I will surely like their next effort. Yesterday I listened to Pablo Honey and I realized that it's one of the best grunge release ever! Last week I got hooked with Kid A and, overall, my sticky choice would be the magnificent Amnesiac, though The Bends seems to be the most accomplished.
Just because the underrated PH has no vote yet, that's it.
