   What do you think about bands revealing their hidden meanings? In many prog acts there are complex stories and metaphor in the writing. When I hear more complex lyrics I try to decipher it myself then find out I'm wrong later. Of course there are some lyrics that just cannot be fully deciphered without a degree in Medieval European History, e.g. early KC. But luckily its all on Sinfield's website if you have some hours.
I see on the Echolyn website they have guides to some of their music, and there is a bit on Genesis and Marillion.
