The new record sounds a little dusty and out-dated for me, twirling synths, back to the Prog-roots, Yes inspired....good musicianship, but not my cup of tea. I am just listening to the samples of their 70's record which sound more 'genuine' similar to Kansas,Yes & Caravan, nice violin . Great pic of the international long-haired&bearded Progger

I think it's more like Night of the Living Dead....
But seriously, I think it's exciting and I am very intersted to see what path they will choose for this record. I can't imagine them doing a similar thing to their Peace album. That album had nothing Israeli about it, and I am not sure that this will be the road taken this time. But then again, I might be surprised.
Anyway, looking forward to it.

First published in Uri Breitman's website - www.mitkadem.co.il (in Hebrew)

The album is called The Bright Side and it has most of the original lineup appearing. They are now looking for a label that will distribute it.
Here you can sample some Zinglae - http://planet.nana.co.il/zingalef/ZingaleSoundsSamples.htm
Here is the bio here in PA that Uri wrote:

There's also a later digipack version of that same reissue. The sound quality is below average, since the master tapes were not found at the time. There are rumours of a planned remaster using newly found master tapes, but it hadn't materialized it. : : : Uri Breitman, ISRAEL : : : Edited by avestin - March 09 2007 at 18:56 |
