Please advise if there is any remaining issue with this, otherwise we'll assume it's OK now.

Thanks

I see your on the Firefox Bandwagon!!

I just like to have control over ads and scripts - and Adblock gives me that control. You're welcome to describe how to disable google analytics with other browsers ... Tongue
I must confess I use Firefox more too, Opera seems a bit strange to me, but that's OK too!!

Mike, usually there are some Internet Security software that can block Ads, I think PC Cillin does, well it did when I used the trail, I use Zone Alarm and Avast now.

There are some some software that is designed for Ad Blocks but nearly all I tried were absolutely crap, did do nothing!!

Ad Blocker Plus is better than Ad Blocker (original), that's just my opinion, cause it riddens all the ad's, but there are some function it blocks that are not ads e.g. Website Counters, other than that it's great.

I hate to say it but IE seems okay at the moment. Not that I normally use it, I'm with Mike on this one.

I am having terrible problemns with IE7. This has been going on for 2 or 3 days.

Like I reported before, on every forum page I see this:

Info%20icon

The webpage cannot be found

 HTTP 400

Most likely causes:

  • There might be a typing error in the address.
  • If you clicked on a link, it
of course no one else was reporting ANY problems when I originally reported the fault.

Google analytics is a small script at the end of the page which collects statistics. It's a nice tool for website owners to keep track of who's visiting the pages ... which pages are most frequently used, on which pages do people enter or leave the website, where are visitors coming from, which browsers are used, which screen resolutions etc..

It may not  be related to the site, but to the route data from Google takes to get to you. I often experience similar problems, with one interesting one: when almost every site, including Google, seems unreachable, PA is there just fine - like a light in the dark....Wink

EDIT: In case my assumption about routing is right, call MCI and ask them to reboot the internet... Tongue
