It's an instrument. The Moody Noobs need a bassoonist.

I discovered that website about one month ago but I registered only a few days ago.
I'm from Quebec, I'm 15 years old and I'm into prog since this summer. Before going on Prog-Archives, I was listening to some prog bands, like:

-Pink Floyd (My favorite band)
-Genesis
-Yes
-Rush
-Jethro Tull
-King Crimson
-Supertramp
-Mike Oldfield

Then I went here and I primarily discovered these bands:

-Van Der Graaf Generator
-Camel
-Eloy
-Gentle Giant
-Marillion
-Hawkwind
-Focus
-Emerson, Lake and Palmer
-Alan Parsons Project

And I project to dig some stuff of PFM, Nektar, Frank Zappa, etc...

When I listen to prog, I'm interested by the technical side, but I also want to feel emotions and ambience. I listen principally to 60's, 70's and 80's music, and I don't like jazz rock/fusion.

Also, I love non-prog rock too, like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, ACDC, The Who, Van Halen, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Alice Cooper, Blue Oyster Cult, The Doors, Judas Priest, The Police, The Rolling Stones, The Scorpions and many many others...
