Yeah, the Avs got the bitter end of that deal, Theodore sucks. My Canucks have Luongo in goal, so we have nothing to worry about in the crease.

You're lucky, he's playing really great. I've been watching the guy, and it seems like a conventional shot never beats him. A team has to bank one in off a defender's skates or tip a slapshot to the top corner.

I'M from Montreal, so guess what team I root for.

Many good transactions since Theodore : Zednik's gone, Ribeiro's gone, Niniima is now here, a nice battle for #1 goalie will take place between Huet and Aebischer, Koivu started his season in full force, as did the #1 trio, Komisarek will develop into one hell of a defenceman, Ryder will surprise many. I think the Habs will be able to finish at least in the 5th slot for the playoffs.

Yeahhhhhhhhh baby!!!!!!!!!!!!Being a Pens fanatic you have to know I cannot stand the Flyers(sorry Flyers fans,but it's the truth)

I hope that game was a portent of good things to come this year.I was complaining about terrible goaltending and Fleury stopped FORTY shots!!!!

God the Flyers sucked last night. Angry

They are not ready to play, that much is clear (and Bobby Clarke said as much in an interview recently). Worst part is I'm going to have to hear it from Jody now. Wink

I went to the opening night game at the Pepsi Center here in Denver. The Stars came back 3-2 to beat the Avalanche in overtime. It was an exciting game, but once Dallas got their offensive game going in the third period, Theodore couldn't make a clutch save.

Apparently there is more than one lacrosse league! Shocked

The Wings are a team in the National Lacrosse League (http://www.nll.com).

There is Major League Lacrosse here in the States.

It is really popular here on the East Coast,and HUGELY popular in my state of Maryland.Baltimore has it's own pro team,the Baltimore Bayhawks,and we go to games pretty regularly.

I played alot growing up,and played for my HS for four years.Great game,pretty fast paced and high scoring,it can also be really rough.
