Topic: Fragile and Steve Howe, Cardiff Posted: August 02 2006 at 20:27 |
I saw Steve Howe solo. Awesome. Not all prog, of course. Played his solo stuff, Yes, and a bit of everything else. Classical, Elvis Presley, Chet Atkins, a reworking of Classical Gas, etc. He still can't sing but "boy could he play guitar".

Went to see this gig last Thursday.
Set list was:
Fragile
Cinema/Astral Traveller
Perpetual Change
Close to the Edge Yours is No Disgrace
Fragile with Steve
Siberian Khatru
Southside of the Sky
Soon
Starship Trooper
Roundabout.
It was a great night. Steve Howe came on for a solo spot after the first half. He played an acoustic set including Bits of The Ancient, The Clap, Mood For A Day a new working of To Be Over.
He stayed on for the second half and was awesome. South Side of The Sky was fantastic.
It was great to see him in such an intimate venue.
(with thanks to the YesFans forum for the set list. I have a crap memory)
