Bob/Clem,

If you check PA homepage you'll see that there's a banner with 5 new album released! Smile

About new band additions, I think it's a good idea! Thumbs Up

Many people like the Top-100 and sometimes a conflict erupts but well... do you know the comparison supposedly made by Orson Wells between Italy and Switzerland? Cool (with full respect to my Swiss friends Embarrassed).

LOL

Seriously though,

I have a suggestion that might help de-emphasize that damn Top 100 list that serves to do little more than generate forum posts from disgruntled fans, or position wars (largely between Floyd and Genesis fans, I might add):

Why don't we use some of that valuable front-page real estate to post the new band additions and/or even the new album additions instead?  If M@x feels there has to be a Top-whatever list, reduce it to the Top-50 like it briefly was a month or so ago.  That seems to be about the only part of the list most people look at anyway (not that it ever changes much....).

I would think this might inspire more reviews and information-sharing on new bands and new material, and possibly even generate interest from new potential members.  Seems to me to be a better use of primo 'ad' space than that tired and subjective old Top-100 list anyway.

My two cents anyway...
