Towards the end of the month I try not to spend too much on records and concentrate on sales bins. My latest discovery is Anthony Moore's 'World Service'(1981). Anthony Moore is quite an interesting artist. He studied Indian Classical Music, composed different soundtracks for Eurepean Independant movies released 3 solo records before forming in 1972 'Slap Happy' with Dagmar Kriuse and Peter Blegvad. In the second half of the seventies and the first half of the eighties he released some more conventional records including the 1981 World Service' ,a mixture of  straightforward Pop-Rock-Songs with some experimental elements. It is an interesting record when not outstanding. Moore is a brillant songwriter and on some of the tracks you find some more experimental guitar work.
