Gianthogweed, Allmusic is pretty unreliable, and the problem is that lately you have to log in (accepting hundreed of Spam messages) to access to the lineups and full credits of the albums.

I reccomend you http://www.artistdirect.com/ most of the information is copied from Allmusic, but you have access to the full credits of each album and can search by band, artist, song or album, also you can use http://www.mmguide.musicmatch.com/ which is a boit more reliable and neither you have to log or accept cookies.

I was wondering if there's an IMDB equivalent for music, where you can click a musician and get a list of all of the albums he/she has appeared on and other details.  The closest I found was discogs.com, but it's not even close to being complete.
