Are you buy any chance a Police fan?
I agree with your last statement, there are some things on the left that I heavily disagree with and some on the right I heavily disagree with.

I thought it would be fun to do this test, but I realised how incoherent it is with the questions and the choise of answers given, and how the whole point of the compass thing is to bring fundamental people apart from each other. The questions were misguiding and it only gave you the alternatives that you would not have wanted to use. Then added to that I found most of the questions not connected to real life at all but to silly generalisations that no-one should expect to happen.
So I got bored and skipped it. I know my political views, I even study politics. I'm not into speculating on red neck assumptions which really make no sense. Sorry.

I guess traditionally I would be a lefty when it came to social welfare and a conservative when it comes to prison terms (in NZ repeat offenders ie paedophiles and rapists only serve a couple of years then go out and destroy other peoples lives and go in and out of our jails, in a referendom over 90% of NZers want tougher sentences but our various govenments have been ignoring us for decades) , but there are many things that disgust me about the left just as much as there are with the right, I find both are apalling.
