It's be worth supporting Mozilla, 2004/September/browser.php">about 8% of people use browsers other
than IE, for this month.

Max if you need any testing done, I'd be happy to do it, I can usually
answer my email quickly.

I'll check , thanks..

Well it wouldn't be too bad running an OS 9 application to post
reviews.

What browser did you use on OS 9? I've tried on OS X Internet
Explorer, Safari, Firefox, OmniWeb, Camino...

You never mention the name of any browser when you talk about
compatibility, is this because the review java code somehow utilises
core OS Java? I thought that thr browsers handled simple Java and the
OS level Java was used for standalone .jar archives, etc...

I typed this in OmniWeb to see what's going on with the line breaks
when I post, the line breaks of the text field also appear when the
reply is posted.

Well... I mean MAC was not a TESTED platform!

But since you had some problems I did some testing on MacOs 9 and it works..

About FireFox on LINUX -- no test has been made either.

Ok I just installed Windows XP, which was a bit unpleasant but I was able
to submit a review.

Max when you say that the Mac is not supported, do you mean OSes other
than Win32 or specifically the Macintosh platform? Are flavours of Linux
supported? Does anyone
use Firefox for Windows here?

I had a look at the javascript, but I couldn't figure much out.

Thanks.

Maybe I'll try posting reviews elsewhere, and I'll try using Virtual PC on
here soon to see it works for me under Windows.

Ice Man, is it just that one specific album that you can't post a review for?

Have you successfully posted reviews for other albums from your Mac under Mac OS X?

Can you use another computer (Mac or PC) to try and post the review from there to see if the problem is specific to your machine?

Can anyone verify that that page works for reviews?

Once I get some available hard drive space I'll install Virtual PC again and
test some Windows browsers, but it's highly unlikely that they would work
over their Mac versions.

I gave a rating, clicked the "I agree" and entered my details. What
browsers have people used here?

Hi Ice Man and welcome!

Just a thought, but are you clicking on a rating (so a dot appears)  and clicking on the "I agree... " box at the bottom (so a tick appears) OK? Also, are you completing the name and e-mail boxes?

I'm sure you will be, but it's worth checking.

Thanks for the welcome.

I haven't rated the album before, and the submit button does not make
the page reload or make a review appear. What's the normal procedure
for this?

Thanks.

Btw I don't know what the deal is with the line breaks in my posts, I don't
paste the text in, I type it... I'm feeling problematic heh

Because if it would have change page at least, this would probably be because you already rated this album ...

Let me know..

Max been at the sauce????LOL

I gather that is a jibe at the less than 100% perfect English in Max's post; could you write as well in French, which is (I believe) Max's first language?
