Trust me after a bit of practice you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

BTW,if you rip cd's using cdex,nero,or Windowsmedia player 10 (amongst others) you can instruct the ripper to automatically identify the tracks and add tags for you.

The only time my MP3s have no tags is if I have received them from someone else or the album couldnt be recognised at the rip stage....

It's a 1gb memory stick type player, I'm not sure if it uses ID3 tags or File names to order the tracks I'll have to look into it.

Either way you could give the tracks names such as 01 - Speak To Me 02 - Breath etc, etc...
