I have dial up at home ... maybe you should forget it ... I'm not sure it's worth the effort if it's going to take you 12 hours plus to get the album ... I'll try and find a way to get you a copy if you're keen enough

Thanks ... yeah the whole story is a very unfortunate one ... we had nearly two albums worth of proggy material like the last two tracks ... but yes maybe Camel style prog is a good reference ...

unfortunately to get a deal we cut two of our more commercial shorter songs as a demo and then we got a verbal deal, but just 5 days into recording they decided to dump us after hearing the more proggy tracks ... much of it was rushed and there are things on virtually every track I'd like to fix ... include practically the whole of track 3! ... but the biggest shame is that after we decided to release it, the band suffered a fatal split ... without ever recording even 20% of the prog tracks ...

Thanks Jimbo ... I'm laughing because they are the only two songs I didn't write ... my bass player would kiss you from happines just to hear that!

Seriously, I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out ... hang on to it ... I'll negotiate with my ex-band members  and someday soon I'll try and get the band on the site ...

I didn't mean it that way, those two just "stuck" in my head - remember that was only the first listening, things may change in the future!

OK guys here it is again for another week ... I repeat my advice to proggers ... check out tracks 5 and 6 first ... also bear in mind that some tracks are two or three take demos ...

Cheers, fm0210 ... I play all the keyboards, and a tiny little bit of the guitars, I sing lead on four out of the six tracks ... (tracks 1,2,3 and 6 to be exact)

Hi, is that your band? The singer has a good voice; what instrument/s do you play?

OK folks,

this raw 6 track mini-album from 2001 (Samarkand's Spinning In Infinity) has yours truly on keys ... if you do check it out ... listen to tracks 5 and 6 first ...  (some of the earlier ones are demo quality) ...

I've put it on yousendit so it's for limited time only ... all feedback welcomed ...

Cheers!

Trotsky
