I actually like Music of The Spheres... Smile
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I should listen to that Paul Roland album at some time, but as it is, I have heard none of these albums in full. My favourite solo album from a British born person from 2008 (he currently resides in France) that I can think of that I would think musically applicable to a progressive site is Matt Elliott's Howling Songs; however, much like a lot of what I listen to that I put under the greater Prog umbrella, it is not in PA.

Here is the first track off the album:

Among these great albums, I voted for Steve Hackett. I love the classical side of his guitar playing.

1. Martin Orford - The Old Road
2. David Gilmour - Live in Gdansk
3. Mike Oldfield - Music of the Spheres
4. Willowglass - Book of Hours

It seems I may have underrated Steven Wilson's Insurgentes album, seeing as it's currently leading the poll. Embarrassed

Don Airey's A Light in the Sky is really, really, I mean REALLY good.

It's the best album Deep Purple never recorded.

Don't worry, Jan Schelhaas really is British, despite the Dutch name. Bedankt! Smile
