I got a couple of orders on referral links from Prog Archives this morning - so, thanks to those that placed orders! I really appreciate the support!

And, while I'm here - I figured I should post a photo of the Neu! Poster (since the Can poster is already sold out):

The Neu! poster is a reprint of a 1972 poster designed by Klaus Dinger for a show at Freiburg University (Audimax). The original posters were made from the existing stock of posters Dinger designed and screen printed to promote the release of Neu’s first album in March of 1972. I love that Dinger added "Ex-Kraftwerk" with the concert details - that's really what made me want to reprint this one. There are other posters from this era (The poster for the show at Fabrik in Hamburg for example) where he didn't include it, so this poster is unique in that respect.

Also of note, short-lived live band member Eberhard Kranemann is included on the poster. Kranemann was credited for his photographic contributions (under the pseudonym Fritz Müller) on the first album, but not included in the performance credits. Fun fact! Kranneman, like Rother and Dinger, was also part of some of the early live iterations of Kraftwerk, particularly during Hütter's departure in 1970.

Anyway, hope you all dig the poster as much as I do!

About 6 months ago I moved into a new recording studio and I was on the hunt for some vintage krautrock posters to buy and display. (We get a lot of folks into Can, Neu!, Cluster, etc.). Unfortunately, there just aren't that many for sale and those that I found were CRAZY expensive ($4k Neu! Poster at Boo Hooray o_O). From there I started looking for reprints - but I couldn't find anyone selling reprints at the original A1 size (23.4" x 33.1").

So...I decided to start making my own reprints!

Can & Amon Düül II 1973 Concert Poster Reprint

My first reprint (the Can & Amon Düül II one above) sold out in just a couple weeks. I just finished printing a second poster (a 1972 Neu! Poster - just a handful left!). And I *just* released pre-orders for a third print which is a 1971 Kraftwerk poster.

My goal with this project is basically just to make these cool old krautrock posters available to people at a reasonable price. I'm basically just breaking even on them - but it allows me to have a bunch of cool concert posters in my studio and share them with like-minded prog and krautrock fans.

If you're interested in picking up one of the prints you can order on my bandcamp website here:

All the posters are printed using the same method used to print the original reference poster. For example, the Can poster was printed using Offset printing (a big aluminum cylinder is etched and used to print the posters) and our Neu! poster was screen printed by hand (just like Klaus Dinger did with the original 1972 prints). We also print everything at the same size as the originals. Most German concert posters are printed at A1 size...Klaus Dinger was cutting his own paper - so the Neu! ones are actually a little bigger than that, haha!

And because it's bandcamp - on the music side, I've been posting bootlegs of concerts associated with each poster. Those are all free to listen to!

I have a bunch more poster ideas in the queue. We have a Kluster one in the design phase now and I have a couple others coming later in the fall. So, I'll update this thread as we have more posters for sale.

Feel free to share cool concert posters you've seen or would be interested in getting a reprint of! I'm always looking for new ideas!
