Not me. I was born in the year of '59, which I truly believe was the absolute best year to be born, especially for a music lover, telly addict and movie buff like me.

No "cookie (cutter) monster vocals" on the highlighted Osanna album either. You're safe.

No, no cookie monster vocals on that Opeth album. It's retro-prog monster only.

I have by far the most of Mike Oldfield (I love Tubular Bells just as much as Ommadawn) and a few of the Ozrics. I like to mention "Herd of Instinct" by .O.rang, the best O-album.

Just out of curiosity... is anyone here old enough to have experienced the 60s as a teen or young adult (b. 1946 or prior) ?? Born in 2001... I can only imagine what it was like. And even then it's hard because color video became prominent around about 70' or 71' and not a lot of that footage survived the test of time - possibly due to the low emphasis placed on the durability of the format. I should think many people back then took the period for granted - thinking the spark of creativity would last forever. Little did they know... here we are in 2024
