Hello Everyone!

I am pleased to meet you all and become a part of this ongoing discussion of all things prog! Very excited for the journey!

My knowledge remains limited for all the sub-genres of prog, but I can list many more bands and their music rather than possessing a thorough description/knowledge on any given band. I am more versed in vintage prog than anything Neo/metal/tech/foreign, etc. Some bands I enjoy include The Moodies/Yes/ELP/Jethro Tull/Soft Machine/Gentle Giant/Zappa and Crimson; I also enjoy anything eclectic, experimental with a balance for the light and heavy, and striking emotionally.

Everyone: stay tuned for future forum/discussion threads involving these bands and anything related: the what ifs, LP analysis, comparisons, recommendations, you name it!

Looking Forward and Enjoy!

-Alex (his own towel) LOL
