I'll give a vote to Egg, it needs some more love, it's a great album

4 stars 1970: Caravan - If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoIDt_C5y1LtsoUorBySZ8GsEIMLVrI2R

If I could do it all over again, I'd do it to the sound of Caravan. Smile

The tough choice here is between Caravan and Soft Machine.  I first heard the 'Third' material on 'Triple Echo' in the form of mono BBC sessions and I actually prefer them with the short-lived seven piece line up (i.e Nick Evan's trombone solo on 'Backwards', etc.)

Another clear vote for Third despite liking all -- that album is one of the greatest in PA to me. The Supersister would be my number two.

Soft Machine - Third closely followed by Egg
