Hello,
I know this is probably not on anybody's Top Ten list of questions (but my own) - it concerns one Genesis release which I have never, ever had the pleasure of hearing. Sometime in 1978, they released a 3-minute-something single version of Deep in the Motherlode, entitled as "Go West Young Man (In the Motherlode)."
Has any forum members heard this one? If you have, can you tell me if it is noticeably different, better or worse than the long-known album version? Analogy: There's quite a difference between Watcher of the Skies (Foxtrot) and their 1973 singles-only recording of that. The latter has much better sound quality, although it is very abbreviated.
Thanks.
